School leaders who understand and effectively manage the relationships among climate, performance, and resource management will be able to bring about dramatic improvement in goal attainment while ensuring opportunities for growth in the school and its personnel. School leaders searching for ways to enhance the ability of each individual to contribute to the achievement of goals and missions must create “organizations that support their employees by developing effective policies based on ability, motivation, and opportunity and create higher levels of organizational commitment, motivation, and job satisfaction” (Purcell, Kinnie, and Hutchinson 2003).
